Oh! My Goddess World:

Story

Oh! My Goddess is an incredible comic by Fujishima Kosuke. It is totally different from other comics because the characters don't have machine guns and blow aliens away, they deal with more believable and possible situations. Keiichi, a 21 year old student at Nekomi Tech in Japan, is left behind at the men's dorm to take his motor club friends' calls. He's a motor junky and likes anything with an engine. He's watching TV and is getting bored when the phone rings.

"Yea, ok I'll tell him you called," Keiichi says as he hangs up the phone. "Haven't these guys ever heard of an answering machine? Well, I got to call Tamiya and tell him he got a call." Keiichi picks up the phone and dials a number. A woman on the other end picks up. She has a beautiful voice.

"Hello. Goddess Technical Help Line. How can I help you?"

"Uh, sorry. Wrong number..."

"Please wait. Your request is being processed. I'll be right there."

"Hey, What the--"

"Hi I'm Belldandy..." a women dressed in oriental robes and jewelry pops out from the mirror behind him.

"But...How...Where'd you come from?!" She proceeds to describe her job and says she is the goddess of the present. She also says that she can grant Keiichi one wish; ANYTHING! Keiichi, not believing her, thinks of an off the wall wish. "I wish for a goddess for you to be with me ALWAYS!...Now how's that for a crazy wish." Much to Keiichi's surprise, his wish does come true. Belldandy explains that because he made such a strong wish, there is a force present that keeps the wish intact. If something threatens to separate them, something else will happen to keep them together.

Just then Keiichi's friends walk in and see him with a girl in the men's dorm. So he gets kicked out along with Belldandy, and they have to find a place to live. Eventually, they find an old japanese temple. Belldandy gets permission to live there so Keiichi and her move in. That's when all Keiichi's wacky adventures begin. Along the way, he meets Belldandy's sisters: Urd (26, goddess of the past), and Skuld (12, goddess of the future). Oh yea, Belldandy is also 21, like Keiichi.
