Tamiya is one of the weirdest characters I've ever seen.
He's a big dumb idiot who is Keiichi's superior. He is in charge of the
Nekomi Tech Auto Club that Keiichi is in. Tamiya treats Keiichi like a little toy
and cons him into doing things he doesn't want to.
With
help from Tamiya and the rest of the Auto Club members, Keiichi always gets picked to
ride, drive, or race in the motor driven contraptions that Tamiya and his friends put
together.
Tamiya's
not to bright either, especially in the Manga. The Manga portrays him as a total
moron. His speech is spelled out like he is drunk and doesn't seem to be able to
figure things out very quickly. Like in Love Potion No. 9 , he is stupid
enough to take one of Urd's love potions. If I was walking down the street and Urd
offered me a cup of tea, I think I would run.
In the
Anime he seems a little smarter. In episode 3 he directs his auto club crew on how
to fix Keiichi's drag racing bike so it will survive the race. |
