The main character in Oh My Goddess!, Belldandy is
the goddess of the present, and falls in love with Keiichi.
It all
starts when Keiichi is being used as an answering machine by his friends. He is
hungry so he tries to call for takeout. None of the phone numbers work, so he just
randomly dials and unwittingly summons Belldandy. (This is the story from the Anime, to

Belldandy's
job as a goddess is to give wishes to people in distress. She appears behind Keiichi
and eventually, he decides on a wish for her to be with him forever.
From
the very first episode, Belldandy's personality is developed superbly. She is
immediately portrayed as a kind, gentle, and caring being. Belldandy enjoys the
simple things in life, and has a strong sense of morals. She believes in the good of
people's hearts and always believes them.
Everyone
has faults though. Belldandy tends to be over sensitive sometimes, but this just
shows how delicate she is and how passionate she is about life.
Belldandy
is one of those people we would probably all hate in real life, but I know we could all
learn a thing or two about how to treat others from her. |
